Pictures coming soon! GOING UP FOR SALE SOON! - 1990 Ford Mustang LX PRICE: $2195 Summary: 2.3L 4cyl. with 84,XXX original miles, AOD transmission, interior like new, exterior in great condition, Twilght Blue exterior, Crystal Blue interior General Details: This car was originally purchased about a year-and-a-half ago to be a daily driver. Well, since I had too much fun with my other Mustangs, this one never even saw the road. I purhcased this car with very, very minor fender and door damage. To make things quicker for me at the time, I just replaced the fender and door. If the buyer wants the original fender and door, that can be included for the right price. The only other part on this car that is not original is the transmission. We have replaced it with a fully functioning transmission from another foxbody Mustang. New Parts: Since this was in great condition when I purchased it, no new parts were used. To reiterate, the fender, door, and transmission are the only things that have been replaced and all came from my extra Mustang parts. Exterior/Body: The exterior is in great condition. No rot and the only rust is on the trunk lid (common area). If you would like the trunk lid fix and repainted, I can do that for the right price. I have not had time to put the pin stripe back on the fender and door. There may be a few other minor dents and dings, but since I haven't looked at it in a while (it's not at my house for the winter). Interior: Interior is exceptionally clean. The only thing that I intended on fixing is the typical driver's seat door lean. Can do that for the right price. Door panels are near immaculate. Power windows and doorlocks. The ashtray door closes and works flawlessly (common problem)! Back seat looks new, passenger seat looks new, and driver's seat looks great, but could use a thorough cleaning. Dash has a minor scuff mark on it and could use a light cleaning. Engine: Engine is exceptionally clean. Everything is original and in tact. Transmission: Transmission was replaced from another foxbody Mustang. Shifted fine before it went in and is in great condition. The old transmission had a problem where somedays it would engage in drive and somedays it wouldn't. You just never knew with this car! Exhaust: The exhaust is mostly original and does the job. The tailpipe and muffer were replaced from another foxbody Mustang since they were in like-new condition. Strut Towers & Undercarriage: Body is in great condition. There is minor surface rust at the front corners of the floors, but it is very solid. Nothing serious, but wanted to inform potential buyers of it. Other than that, it is in amazing condition considering the year. Both strut towers are in great condition. If I recall correctly (once again, the car isn't sitting outside my door), one strut tower (right side I think) has minor, minor surface rust on the very bottom of the strut tower. Nothing serious, but could easily be sanded and painted to look perfect. Needs: It all depends on when you buy it and how much you buy it for! To reiterate, driver's seat has lean and could use a light cleaning. Other than that, it really needs nothing that I know of! Since I haven't driven it, I can't say how great it runs and drives down the road. I can say that from "yard moving" it and letting it run, it truly is a great little car. I was hoping to get to drive it sometime, but every time I thought about driving a 4-cyl. in the hills and mountains of NH, I'd rather be cruising around in one of my 5.0's! I’m mentioning everything that I know is right, wrong, or indifferent about this car. I’m being as honest as I can, but keep in mind I have not driven this a distance down the road, but I can assure you it starts and runs great. This Mustang is being sold AS IS, NO WARRANTY. |
